Sapience! Wisdom! The only people selected to be protected from this global disaster and continue the race, are those of high intelligence and sapience…All others will be sterilized (forcefully or not). This is easily possible in the future:

The most likely end of the human race
The problem is really overshoot of the population. This is compounded by several factors. We are in the midst of significant resource depletion and potentially catastrophic climate change.
At the same time we have neither effective political decision processes, nor is human nature going to be very cooperative in terms of something like voluntary sterilization. We have proven this over and over...

Is the human race twisted by design?
Incapable of remaining unmarred and unbiased from past experience?
If you still carry around your past problems does that mean that you havent learnt from them?
Are we doomed to shoulder our irrational peculiarities?

where someone talked shit about them or they have come to the realization that they are fat/ugly …….. Srsly?

And most of the time I am thinking up new and creative ways to convince myself the former is better than the latter. But if I can’t convince myself…. surely no one else can. Thus making it an unworthy pursuit?
Its a twisted loop of self determination, what do I want, why do I want it and what am I willing to do (or sacrifice doing) to achieve it? I’d like to be practical here...
